EMPOWER Goalkeeper Camp focuses on the overall performance of each individual Goalkeeper by delivering technical and tactical training tools to improve one of the most important positions on the soccer field. We do this by creating a positive yet challenging environment that stretches the Goalkeepers towards their potential. Our primary focus is to help guide our athletes with the knowledge, courage, leadership skills, and proper specialized positional training to perform at their optimal level.
EMPOWER Goalkeeper program is a position specific training environment that focuses on technical improvements in areas of neuromuscular connectivity, ball handling, footwork, core strength, mental & physical strength, as well as tactical soccer strategies.
SPRING BREAK CAMP CURRICULUM
All Sessions -- Warm Up: Movement Focus - Quick & Efficient Feet, Balance, and Control
Day 1 - Handling - Decision making of catching vs parrying; Angle Play - Proper footwork to cover the goal
Day 2 - Angle Play - Decision making with proper footwork and diving; Varying height of diving saves
Day 3 - High Balls, Services and Crosses - Angle play and decision making to catch or punch
Day 4 - One v One situations, Communication and Organization
All Sessions -- Cool Down: Coaching proper self care for more effective recovery
